The Gibson Pro - Retail Sales Expert reports to the Gibson Garage Store Assistant Manager and will be the master expert on all guitar makes/models, accessories and store services. They will be able to work with the most seasoned and knowledgeable player(s) along with the ability to inspire the next generation of guitar player(s). You should be able to consistently achieve individual sales goals to support the store’s sales and profit objectives, while providing a seamless customer experience.

Essential Functions

  • Provide a seamless and unforgettable experience for all customers
  • Leverage product and service offering to meet and/or exceed customer expectations
  • Provide guidance to customers looking for repair and restoration service
  • Meet and exceed sales goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Extensive sales experience (experience selling guitars highly advantageous)
  • Have a detailed knowledge of all guitar, amplifiers and speaker makes/models and accessories
  • Ability to ask open ended questions to understand customer wants and/or needs
  • Outstanding time management skill set with the ability to prioritize tasks
