Job Summary: Final Assembly technicians are experts in the installation of hardware and electronics on all our guitar models. They have a complete understanding of how our guitars are assembled according to our internal specifications. They also have a thorough understanding of signal flow as it pertains to a variety of vintage and modern pickup configurations.
Essential Functions:
- The installation of guitar hardware and electronics.
- Ensuring that each guitar is built according to the correct internal design specifications.
- Monitoring the flow of guitars, parts, and other materials throughout the department and facility.
- Cleaning fully built guitars such that they are pristine and free of any residue or cosmetic blemishes.
- Packing completed guitars and transferring them into the distribution center.
- Maintaining a safe and clean workspace consistent with our 5S standards.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous experience working with hand, power, or pneumatic tools.
- Previous experience working on guitars greatly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Teamwork and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in a timely manner.
Education and Experience:
- Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand for all day and lift up to 30lbs frequently.
