Contract Role - Oracle HCM Specialist - Warwick/Hybrid - 12 Months Initial - Inside IR35

Role Overview:

  • Location: Warwick/Hybrid (Hybrid working to be agreed with the team lead, typically it's no more than 2 days per week).
  • Contract Type: Contract
  • Duration: 12 months initially, with high potential for extension

Oracle HCM Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance and support of ESR. Functional role predominantly with some technical ability required.

The following skills are required in addition to IT related skills:

  • Application knowledge of the client business process
  • Communication skills with end users
  • Understanding the end user issues/concerns; prioritizing issues for resolution
  • Address questions/issues raised by end users, Client IT individuals or help desk
  • Determine/resolve problems reported from end users, system operators & help desk

Required Skills:

  • Oracle HCM experience - with focus on HR (e.g. Oracle HRMS, Oracle SSHR, Oracle Workflow, OLM, Oracle BI, SQL)
  • Problem solving, investigative and analytical skills
  • Experience working within application support team
  • Exposure to querying, manipulating and configuring SQL
  • Knowledge of a help desk system and managing service requests/incidents/problems
  • Respond to users within set service level agreements (SLA's) and operating level agreements (OLA's)
  • Establish good working relationships with clients and project teams
  • Customer communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Provide politically sensitive answers/solutions to issues as necessary
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels

Nice to have skills:

  • An understanding of ITIL framework
  • UK Payroll Legislation
  • Experience of working within the healthcare sector
