We are looking for an experienced and confident Floor Waiter Supervisor to join our busy pizzeria in Sidcup, Kent.. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the front-of-house team, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining smooth floor operations, and supporting the management team during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the front-of-house/waiting team during service.
- Ensure customers receive friendly, professional and efficient service.
- Allocate tables and manage the flow of service.
- Support and guide waiting staff throughout each shift.
- Handle customer queries and resolve service issues professionally.
- Ensure tables, dining areas and front-of-house areas are kept clean and presentable.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor staff performance and maintain high standards of service.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management team.
- Help train and support new members of staff.
- Lead by example during busy and high-pressure services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory role is essential.
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, pizzeria or busy hospitality environment.
- Fluent spoken English is essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Confident supervising and motivating a team.
- Reliable, organised and punctual.
- Able to remain calm and professional during busy services.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and professional appearance.
