Rate: £40.00 - £45.00 per hour (DOE)
Contract: Long-Term Contract
Hours: 45-50 Hours per Week

We're recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced SCADA Engineer to join a major mechanical and electrical project in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term industrial project supporting the upgrade and commissioning of critical control and automation systems.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining, fault-finding and commissioning SCADA and control systems, ensuring the reliable operation of site infrastructure while working alongside electrical, commissioning and project engineering teams.
The Role
- Commission, configure and maintain SCADA control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults across PLC and automation systems.
- Support commissioning activities and system testing.
- Work alongside electrical and commissioning engineers during project delivery.
- Complete all work safely in line with site procedures and documentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a SCADA or Control Systems Engineer.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs and industrial automation systems.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and commissioning experience.
- Industrial, utilities, power generation or process plant background preferred.
- ECS Card or relevant electrical/automation qualifications beneficial.
