The role
As a Business Development Executive, you will identify, target and convert SME recruitment agencies through proactive outbound sales activity. Using phone-based prospecting, follow-ups and marketing support, you will build a strong pipeline and close opportunities across the full Giant service offering.
Key responsibilities
- Generating new business opportunities through consistent outbound calling and prospecting
- Building and managing a healthy pipeline of qualified SME recruitment prospects
- Selling the full range of Giant services to drive revenue and profitability
- Engaging and influencing senior decision makers within recruitment agencies
- Achieving and exceeding individual revenue and activity targets
- Accurately maintaining CRM records and tracking performance against KPI
About you
Ideally you will have proven experience in inside sales or telesales, ideally within recruitment services, payroll, MSP, or a related B2B environment. You can only excel in this role if you have:
- Energetic, driven to succeed in a sales-focused role
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills, comfortable engaging senior decision-makers
- A data-driven mindset, using KPIs and CRM insight to drive performance and continuous improvement
- High levels of resilience, energy, and accountability in a fast-paced sales environment
