Do you enjoy building relationships and winning new business over the phone? At Giant Group, we’re looking for a confident Business Development Executive to focus on acquiring and growing SME recruitment agency accounts.

What we offer

  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + £50-55k OTE
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 37hrs per week, Mon to Fri 9AM - 5:30PM
  • Location: Home-based - UK

About the role

As a Business Development Executive, you will identify, target and convert SME recruitment agencies through proactive outbound sales activity. Using phone-based prospecting, follow-ups and marketing support, you will build a strong pipeline and close opportunities across the full Giant service offering.

Key responsibilities

  • Generating new business opportunities through consistent outbound calling and prospecting
  • Building and managing a healthy pipeline of qualified SME recruitment prospects
  • Selling the full range of Giant services to drive revenue and profitability
  • Engaging and influencing senior decision makers within recruitment agencies
  • Achieving and exceeding individual revenue and activity targets
  • Accurately maintaining CRM records and tracking performance against KPI

About you

Ideally you will have proven experience in inside sales or telesales, ideally within recruitment services, payroll, MSP, or a related B2B environment. You can only excel in this role if you have:

  • Energetic, driven to succeed in a sales-focused role
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills, comfortable engaging senior decision-makers
  • A data-driven mindset, using KPIs and CRM insight to drive performance and continuous improvement
