Ready to take ownership of key accounts and lead a sales team that makes a real impact? At Giant Group, we are looking for a Key Account Director / Head of Sales to help us grow our contractor population by building strong, lasting relationships with recruitment agencies.

What we offer

  • Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum + £20-40k OTE
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 37hrs per week, Mon to Fri between 9AM - 6:00PM with irregular hours depending on business requirements
  • Location: UK travel/Home

About the role

As the Key Account Director / Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Giant’s contractor population through the development of strategic recruitment agency relationships. You will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with major recruitment groups while also providing leadership and direction to the wider sales team. This role combines strategic account development with sales leadership, ensuring the team is focused on building strong recruitment agency partnerships that generate contractor referrals and support the continued growth of Giant’s services.

The desired outcome of this role is to:

  • Increase contractor referrals from recruitment agencies
  • Strengthen strategic agency relationships
  • Improve sales discipline and team performance
  • Support the growth of Giant’s contractor population and revenue

Key responsibilities

  • Generating new business opportunities through consistent outbound calling and prospecting
  • Building and managing a healthy pipeline of qualified SME recruitment prospects
  • Selling the full range of Giant services to drive revenue and profitability
  • Engaging and influencing senior decision makers within recruitment agencies
  • Achieving and exceeding individual revenue and activity targets
  • Accurately maintaining CRM records and tracking performance against KPI

About you

  • Developing and managing relationships with major recruitment groups and strategic agency partners
  • Growing contractor referrals and increasing Giant’s market share within strategic recruitment agency accounts
  • Providing leadership and management to the sales team including Key Account Directors, Client Relationship Managers and internal sales colleagues
  • Supporting the CBDO in the development and execution of the sales strategy
  • Building multi-level relationships within recruitment organisations including consultants, managers and senior leadership
  • Identifying opportunities to expand use of Giant’s services including screening, payroll and workforce management solutions
  • Driving sales performance through clear objectives, coaching and performance management
  • Representing Giant at industry events and key client meetings
  • UK travel and occasional client entertainment
