We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you'll be supporting financial and commercial decision-making through high-quality reporting, analysis and insight. You’ll play a key role working closely with Finance and business stakeholders, helping to interpret data, understand performance drivers, and support areas such as billing, rebates and profitability analysis.

While you’ll use tools like Power BI, the focus of the role is on delivering clear, commercially meaningful insight rather than purely technical development.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Produce and enhance reporting and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and other BI tools
  • Analyse and interpret data to support revenue, margin and cost performance across the business
  • Support rebate and billing processes, including calculations and reconciliations
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple sources
  • Drive consistency in reporting across the Giacom Group
  • Play a key role in our Data Acceleration programme, helping improve how we use and manage data
  • Contribute to the development of data governance standards and best practices
  • Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted partner and reporting advocate

Your Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience producing reports and developing analytics solutions
  • Strong Excel skills and demonstrable experience with Power BI
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly
  • A curious, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Good business and commercial understanding
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
  • Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python, or R, is highly desirable
  • Understanding of financial processes, billing, or commercial agreements
  • Interest in AI and how it can enhance analytics
