We’re looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented Group Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Hessle. This is a pivotal role within the Group, responsible for leading the monthly consolidated management reporting and annual statutory compliance processes across multiple entities.
Working closely with senior finance leaders, auditors, and tax advisers, you’ll ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting while supporting the development of our financial control frameworks and systems. What you\’ll be doing
- Leading the monthly group consolidation and management reporting process.
- Owning the annual statutory reporting across the Group and subsidiaries.
- Acting as a key contact for auditors and tax advisers, ensuring smooth compliance.
- Developing and maintaining our IFRS Group Accounting Manual and control frameworks.
- Supporting the ongoing optimisation of NetSuite, with a focus on automation and consolidation.
- Ensuring we meet all covenant and reporting requirements linked to Group financing.
- Getting involved in corporate treasury and other strategic finance projects.
Your Experience
- You’re a fully qualified accountant with solid post-qualification experience.
- You’ve got a strong grip on group consolidations, IFRS, and statutory reporting.
- You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You’re confident working independently and managing deadlines.
- You’re a great communicator – whether it’s with auditors, team members, or senior management.
- You’re tech-savvy, with advanced Excel skills and a passion for improving processes.
- You’re comfortable with negotiation and influencing, particularly when working with external auditors or cross-functional teams.
