An Admissions Advisor and Student Recruitment Representative guides prospective students through the application process, providing information about programs, admissions requirements, and career paths. The advisor actively recruits potential students by building relationships and attending national and international outreach events, following and creating leads acting as a liaison between GIA and prospective students to facilitate their enrollment journey. The role will require the Admissions Advisor and Student Recruitment Representative to meet with prospective students in person or remotely to determine their motivation for attending GIA, understand their career goals and the obstacles that might prevent them from starting or continuing their education, help them to overcome those obstacles, and ultimately help them identify the program that best matches their goals.

Relationship Building

Data Management
Maintain accurate student records within the admissions database, track application progress, and generate reports on recruitment efforts.
Document touch points, conversations, and outreach attempts with prospective students from interest through registration.
Compliance
Stay updated with the latest developments in education policies, admission processes, and changes in scholarship programs.
Ensure adherence to all admissions policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Be aware of and adhere to the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), ensuring that enquiries are handled tactfully and escalated where necessary.
