About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable Project Manager to play a key role in executing our investment strategies and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with our investment team, including partners, and with the founders of our portfolio companies. The role combines both commercial and operational responsibilities. You will independently manage specific projects from the initial preparation phase through to successful delivery and integration.

What You Will Do

  • Investment Project Management: Provide proactive project support during key transactional processes, including coordinating due diligence and preparing materials for acquisitions, refinancing, and exits.
  • Operational Execution: Lead and drive specific operational tasks across the Gi21 portfolio and internal initiatives, such as launching in new markets, optimizing processes in newly invested companies, and implementing tech tools.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as the primary bridge between the Gi21 investment and finance team, portfolio company management, and external partners, including auditors, lawyers, and consultants.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Own project milestones, timelines, and budgets. Prepare clear, structured reporting for stakeholders and fund partners.
  • Problem-Solving & Optimization: Proactively identify bottlenecks and potential risks within projects, and propose effective, scalable solutions.

What We Expect From You

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager.
  • Background in VC, private equity, management consulting, M&A, or a dynamic tech startup or scaleup is a significant advantage.
  • The ability to seamlessly switch between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on operational execution.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the agility to quickly understand new industries and business models.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Autonomy, common sense, strong drive, and the ability to get things done with minimal supervision.
  • Fluent English, required for daily communication and formal reporting.
