GI Group are currently recruiting a Drivers Mate for our client in Launceston (PL15). This company is a leading UK-wide drinks wholesaler supplying pubs, bars, restaurants and other on-trade venues with a full range of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Class 2 Driver duties will include:

  • 10-20 drops per shift
  • Handballing up to 30KG off the vehicle
  • Double manned (Drivers mate supplied)

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday (Apply online only) starts 42 hours per week

Pay rates: £17.48 per hour (Including advanced holiday pay), £19.73 per hour after 12 weeks

Class 2 Driver requirements and skills:

  • You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 2 license, a valid Driver CPC and DIGI Cards
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months check-able Class 2 driving work history.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN offences please)
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, and resilient - are welcomed attributes in this role.
