This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career as Mechanical Repair Technicians working for a respected market leader. The role is a temporary ongoing position based in Uddingston. My client is a well-known international organisation that manufactures and repairs large and small power tools and is looking for two mechanical professionals to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults on various types of machinery.
  • Servicing machines before they are sent back to the client.
  • Working closely with the Repair Team to advise on any product faults.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: £14.36 per hour.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm (37.5 hours per week).
  • Full ongoing training and support in all aspects of mechanical repair.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical field or equivalent qualifications; electrical knowledge is advantageous.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of tools and machines.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work to deadlines accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong desire to learn new technology.
