Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: £13.50 per hour

We are recruiting a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Operator to join a busy site based in Chichester. This is a hands-on role working mainly in the yard, operating a counterbalance forklift and supporting general yard duties. The position is initially temporary ongoing, with the potential to become longer term for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Moving, stacking and organising materials in the yard
  • General yard work - keeping the area clean, tidy and safe
  • Following site health & safety procedures at all times

About You

  • Hold an external, in-date Counterbalance licence/certification (essential)
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Confident operating a forklift in a busy outdoor environment
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Health & safety conscious with a proactive attitude
