We are looking for an experienced 2nd Fix Carpenter to join the team. This is a site-based role, working Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate of £14-£16 depending on experience.
Duties will include:
- Reading and working from floor plans
- Stud walling
- Fitting insulation
- Plaster boarding
- Gyplyner ceilings
- Door hanging
- Fitting architraves and skirting
- Laminate flooring
- Vinyl flooring
- Carpet fitting
- Kitchen fitting
- Window fitting
- Sheet roofing
- Fitting roof lights (Velux)
- Bathroom sheet boarding
- Fitting baths and shower screens
- Fitting exterior decking
Requirements:
- Proven experience in 2nd fix carpentry
- Ability to confidently carry out the tasks listed above
- Ability to read and work from floor plans
- Own basic hand tools
- Reliable, punctual and able to work Monday to Friday
- Good attention to detail and quality of finish
