A leading Aerospace & Defence organisation is looking for an organised, proactive person to support an In‑Service aircraft production line. You’ll help plan day‑to‑day activity, track progress, and manage Emergent Work (unexpected tasks identified during production). This role suits both experienced candidates and those looking to build experience in production planning/operations support—if you’re confident with Excel and enjoy working with people and data, we want to hear from you.
Planning & daily support
- Create and update plans in line with the aircraft build schedule
- Track daily progress and share updates with managers and stakeholders
- Update aircraft boards when needed
- Support accurate clocking data and performance information (reason codes, reporting)
Emergent Work (EW) coordination
- Work with Aircraft Managers and operators to identify and log Emergent Work
- Raise and manage paperwork and support the sign‑off process (including customer sign‑off where required)
- Check hours clocked in SAP/MES, investigate issues, and liaise with Works Analysis to resolve
- Support twice‑weekly sign‑off meetings
Process support
- Help improve and document processes
- Follow all HSE and company policies
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Good written and verbal communication
Nice to have
- SAP or MES knowledge
- Financial awareness (budgets/cost tracking)
- Knowledge of Emergent Work processes
This is a 12 month temporary contract with the potential to extend.
