We're partnering with a well-established engineering business with an excellent reputation for quality and safety. They're now looking for a proactive Quality Inspector to support production and ensure products consistently meet ISO 9001 and customer standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out inspections throughout the full production process to confirm compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
  • Inspect components and assemblies using CMM equipment.
  • Complete internal audits, support COSHH assessments, and coordinate external assessments/visits.
  • Own quality documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, complete and up to date.
  • Support production with quality issues, complaints and day-to-day problem solving.
  • Maintain the calibration system and manage non-conformance reporting and controls.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Confident reading engineering/mechanical drawings and using a range of measuring equipment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and processes.
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with Excel, including pivot tables, basic data analysis and document control.
