Gi Group is working on behalf of a client who supply reusable packaging containers to major UK supermarkets.

FLT Counterbalance Driver responsibilities:

  • Daily maintenance of the forklifts and batteries - any damage or required maintenance is reported immediately to the Manager
  • Ensure start up sheets are completed for each forklift at the start of each shift
  • Ensure that all relevant records are kept for the movement of crates/trays, pallets
  • Ensure that all weights are provided correctly and on time to all persons as required
  • Work with the team to ensure the workplace cleanliness is maintained
  • Adhere to company health and safety standards

FLT Counterbalance Driver required skills:

  • You will have at least 6 months previous experience as a Forklift / FLT counterbalance driver
  • A Current Counterbalance Licence (Accredited)
  • Will be flexible to do overtime, also work at short notice
  • Will be motivated and look for long term work (as our client are looking to offer permanent contracts)

FLT Counterbalance Driver Shift:

Day Shift: 06:00 - 18:00, 3 on 3 off.

FLT Counterbalance Driver Pay:

Basic Pay: £12.97ph | Overtime: £14.47ph
