Gi Group are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to work in a Cold Store environment. We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to support the day-to-day running of our warehouse, including picking, packing, loading, and stock control.
Warehouse Coldstore Operative responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and assemble customer orders for storage and dispatch
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 25kg) and manual handling, following all health & safety procedures
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required)
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Support with stock checks and inventory management
Warehouse Coldstore Operative required skills:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but not essential
- A valid forklift licence is advantageous, though training can be provided
- Good diligence and a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a cold environment and performing physical tasks
Warehouse Coldstore Operative Pay:
- £12.75
- OT £12.75 Mon - Fri & Sat OT £16.00
Warehouse Coldstore Operative Shift:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 16:30
- Saturday: 08:00 - 12:00 (1 in every 3 Saturdays)
- Regular overtime available
