GI Group UK are recruiting for an experienced and qualified VNA Forklift Driver to join our client, a well-established freight forwarding business based in the Lichfield area. This is an excellent opportunity offering ongoing work for the right candidate.
Hours & Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm Full-time, ongoing position
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of VNA forklift trucks within a busy warehouse environment
- Picking and putting away stock at high levels
- Loading and unloading goods in line with company procedures
- Working accurately from pick lists and warehouse management systems
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
- Valid and in-date VNA licence (essential)
- Proven experience operating VNA trucks in a warehouse environment
- Previous experience within freight, logistics or distribution desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team
