The predicted salary is between 18 - 18 £ per hour.

This is a hands-on, field-based role focusing on Power Factor Correction (PFC) equipment, servicing, fault-finding and power quality monitoring. You'll work closely with internal technical and sales teams while building strong relationships with customers on site. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise in a niche, high-demand electrical sector with clear progression routes and strong earning potential.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Servicing and maintaining Power Factor Correction (PFC) equipment
  • Fault-finding and repairing PFC systems on site
  • Carrying out load monitoring and power quality surveys
  • Producing reports and recommendations following site visits
  • Preparing and working to RAMS
  • Liaising with customers to ensure clear scope and expectations
  • Quoting remedial works and replacement equipment
  • Ordering parts and coordinating with suppliers
  • Investigating equipment failures and identifying improvements
  • Identifying additional service and upgrade opportunities

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (essential)
  • Fully electrically qualified and confident isolating panels
  • Experience in service, maintenance or fault-finding roles
  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites

Progression & Development:

This is a specialist role with real long-term potential:

  • Approved Engineer rate: up to £19.12 per hour
  • Technician level: up to £24.77 per hour
  • Opportunities to become a recognised technical specialist
