Location: Reading
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30am-6:30pm or 6:30am-3:30pm. Every other Saturday (4 hours required).
Pay: £12.71 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution team based in Reading. This is a temp to perm opportunity with a mixture of driving and warehouse work.

The role:
- Multi-drop van driving in a 3.5T vehicle - up to 15 drops per day
- Delivering goods to various customers within approximately a 1-hour radius of the Reading site
- Picking and packing orders accurately
- Working on goods in and goods out
- Using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process orders and stock
- General warehouse duties, including loading/unloading vehicles
- Lifting and shifting heavy goods as required
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (clean licence preferred)
- Previous van driving experience (3.5T) desirable
- Previous warehouse experience, including picking/packing, is an advantage
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy items
- Able to use basic computer systems / WMS (training can be provided)
- Good knowledge of local routes around Reading and surrounding areas beneficial
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
