Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping machinery running at peak performance? We are on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client and help them drive excellence in precision engineering. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the plant machinery and equipment operate smoothly and efficiently.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Maintaining single and three phase systems, such as isolators, control panels and distribution boards
- Performing electrical fault diagnosis and repairs on plant equipment and machinery
- Wiring and commissioning electric motors, inverters (VFDs), and motor-control circuits
- Helping with installation and commissioning of electrical components and systems
- Diagnosing PLC faults and implementing effective solutions
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability
- Collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and optimise performance
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, especially with PLC controlled equipment
- Familiarity with a wide variety of plant machinery
