GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Training Engineer to our client based in Worksop. The Training Engineer will (when trained) act as Course Leader/Lead Tutor and will deliver a range of centre-based technical courses involving Mobile Hydraulic Systems. They will also be involved in the delivery and support of Hydraulic courses, including Electro-Hydraulics and Electro-Pneumatics (training will be provided).
Main Duties of the Training Engineer:
- Deliver training to candidates taking CETOP and competence-based programmes at Levels 1, 2, and 3 and complete assessments
- Work closely with colleagues to develop mobile practical training facilities embracing electronics and control
- Assist in developing new courses, presentations, and lab-based exercises
- Ensure that candidates always apply safe working practices
- Ensure that the necessary equipment and resources are available and maintained in readiness for course delivery
- Work closely with Senior Leadership to identify new business opportunities
Role Requirements:
- Have at least 5 years of experience involving the maintenance and management of Mobile systems involving hydraulics and control
- Qualified to at least level 3 in mobile hydraulics
- The ability to assess practical skills
- The ability to communicate effectively with customers and candidates
- Experience using a range of Microsoft Applications, with advanced PowerPoint Presentation skills
