We are recruiting for Waste Operatives for our client based in Ripon HG4 1TT & Sowerby YO88AG OWN TRANSPORT IS RECOMMENDED

- Hours;
- Monday– Sunday
- 8am-5pm – Summer
- 8am-4pm– Winter
This is rota based - Includes weekends.
All sites are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - you will be required to work these days. Your shifts will be discussed on induction.

- Key Duties
- Helping residents with unloading their vehicles of waste and disposing of the items in the correct waste and recycle bins
- Direct residents to the correct Wastebins and recycling areas
- Working outdoors in all weathers
- Conducting the collection of full skips
- Using online systems on site
- Separating materials into allocated bins
- Public facing, greet residents as they arrive
- Help keep traffic moving safely and smoothly
- Candidate Requirements
- Good customer service skills and polite, professional manners
- Confident speaking to members of the public
- IT literate and comfortable using handheld devices
- Reliable punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Able to work outdoors and stand for long periods
- Additional Information
- Full briefing and guidance will be provided
- PPE will be supplied where required
- Role is customer-facing
