Temp to Perm opportunity. Our client, a leading partner for contract packing services in the UK, is looking to expand their team with dedicated and motivated FLT Bendi Drivers at their Leicester location (LE7 1PD).
Shift Pattern: 6:00 - 14:00 or 8.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday & 30-minute unpaid break.
Pay Rate: £13.23 per hour (overtime after 37.5 hours £17.86 per hour). Paid holiday on your birthday after completing 12 weeks of continuous employment.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking, sorting and put-away.
- Warehouse duties, as and when required.
- Timely sortation of customer returns back to stock or for disposal.
- Returning production and rejects to new stock locations for disposal.
- Re-location of product using appropriate MHE.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Treating merchandise and company property with care and concern at all times.
All employees must work flexibly to support the Peak Season and as such their hours of work may be variable for periods of time to meet business needs. All employees will be trained across all functions in order to multitask giving flexibility of employment.
Key Skills:
- Operation of MHE equipment (including conveyors, pallet trucks, trolleys, etc.).
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of IT system to support operations and stock integrity.
- Teamwork.
- Working to high health and safety standards.
- Time Management.
- Communication.
- Able to work across all functions including Contract Packing and Logistics.
MHE operators will require licenses relevant to their duties.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous experience in a fast-moving logistics environment preferred.
- Basic level of computer skills.
- Attention to detail and methodical to ensure stock is correctly accounted for.
- MHE experience 1 year+.
