Gi Group are looking for a Transport Planner based in Redhill who will be responsible for the effective planning and coordination of vehicle movements, driver schedules, and delivery routes to ensure a safe, efficient, and cost-effective transport operation. The role involves liaising with drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure service levels are achieved while maintaining compliance with transport legislation and company procedures. - Monday to Friday - 08:00am - 18:00pm (flexibility offered) - 13.00 per hour - Temp to perm Key Responsibilities * Plan and schedule daily transport operations, ensuring efficient utilisation of vehicles and drivers. * Create and optimise delivery and collection routes to maximise efficiency and minimise costs. * Monitor vehicle movements and respond to any operational issues or delays. * Liaise with drivers regarding schedules, route changes, customer requirements, and transport updates. * Maintain accurate transport records and planning documentation. * Communicate with customer service to provide updates on delivery and collection schedules. * Work closely with warehouse, customer service, sales, and operational teams to meet customer requirements. * Investigate and resolve delivery issues, customer complaints, and service failures. * Support continuous improvements within the transport operation. * Ensure adherence to all H
