The predicted salary is between 20.08 - 20.08 Β£ per hour.
Gi Group are recruiting Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers to work for a well-known delivery company, based in Brooklands (KT13). There are a mixture of days, twilight and night shifts available. Twilight shifts will start from (Apply online only) Nights will start between (Apply online only) All shifts are 8-10hrs. Newly passed drivers are accepted. (If wanting Class 1 but have no experience you will be asked to start on a Class 2).
Pay Rates:
- Class 1: Day/Twilight shift - 20.08/hr*
- Class 1: Night shift - 22.26/hr*
- Class 2: Day/Twilight shift - 18.14/hr*
- Class 2: Night Shift - 20.85/hr*
*Please note that pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay.
HGV Driver responsibilities:
- Conducting Vehicle checks
- Trunking work to HUBs and local depots
- Securing loads
- Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
- Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met
- Maintain good communication with the supervisor/wave controller
- Cover 3-4 waves across the night
- Load and unload pallets
HGV Driver required skills:
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
- Good attitude to work and learn new skills
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsement codes)
- Hold a valid, in date Tachograph
