The predicted salary is between 19.47 - 19.47 £ per hour.

Gi group are working with McLaren Automotive to add an experienced automotive paint sprayer to the paint shop team. This role is an initial fixed term contract for 3 months. Working Monday to Friday 5:30am - 2:15pm with potential overtime on weekends. Pay rates are £19.47 per hour Monday to Friday, £29.21 per hour after 40 hours and Saturdays, and £38.94 per hour on Sundays and bank holidays.

You will be specifically in the Paint shop reporting to the Group Leader at McLaren Automotive. You will take on a role in ensuring a seamless and efficient operation within the application of paint, ensuring production continues a consistent, high-quality application process.

What You’ll Do:
  • Understand practical problem-solving methods and rework instructions.
  • Escalate any issues found within the built-in quality stations and rectify to process standard.
  • Ensure 5S within your work area in line with McLaren expectations.
  • Maintain standards set such as using the uniform/clothing provided.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards is essential.
  • The technician must always adhere to safety protocols.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities as requested by your leader.
  • Logical thinker with good communication is vital to ensure all rework processes are effectively managed.
