Pay Rate:

  • £13.42 per hour
  • £13.92 per hour (with valid FLT Counterbalance & Reach licences)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Location: Derby

Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Control Operative to join a well‑established food production facility in Derby. This role is based within a meat processing environment, and candidates must be comfortable working in a cold‑store setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and monitoring stock levels
  • Completing stock checks and recording data accurately
  • Working closely with production and warehouse teams
  • Ensuring stock is rotated correctly and efficiently
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy and organisation
  • Operating FLT Counterbalance and Reach trucks (if licensed)

Requirements:

  • Previous stock control experience is essential
  • Ability to work in a cold environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Valid FLT Counterbalance & Reach licences (required for higher pay rate)
