GI Group UK is recruiting Yard Operatives for ferrying operations with a leading automotive logistics client based in Stallingborough.
Role Overview:
- Location: Stallingborough
- Pay: £12.91 to £25.82 per hour shift dependant
- Shift Patterns: 1800 (on rotation)
- Days: Monday- Friday with weekend availability required
- Type: ongoing assignments based on site volume
Key Responsibilities:
- Relocating vehicles around the compound and transferring between compounds on the client site
- Relocate vehicles around the compound (electric, manual, and automatic transmission)
- Use handheld terminal scanners (training provided on day one)
- Check and report vehicle damage immediately
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (category B)
- Licence held for minimum 24 months
- Up to 3 points on licence, subject to endorsement code
- 22 years of age and over due to insurance
- Confidence driving various vehicles (Electric, manual and automatic)
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliability and flexibility
- Own vehicle due to remote location
