We're recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing site in Newcastle-Under-Lyme producing products for the construction industry. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills running and maintaining machinery, with training provided as you settle into the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning to operate, run and maintain production machines
- Loading machines with materials/components
- Machine minding and monitoring output to ensure smooth running
- Feeding raw materials into machinery safely and efficiently
- Carrying out basic checks and reporting any faults or issues
- Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised at all times
What We're Looking For
- Basic machine minding experience is essential
- You must have previously worked in a manufacturing/production environment
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and following site processes
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
PPE Requirement (Mandatory)
- Full PPE must be worn on site at all times, including:
- Hard hat
- Hi-vis trousers and coat
- Safety glasses
- Ear protectors
