We're recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established fresh-produce business in Spalding, who are looking for Machine Operators to join their production team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants stable, long-term work and the chance to build real experience in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
You'll be working on a production line, helping to keep machinery running smoothly and making sure everything is set up correctly for each run. Full training is provided, so even if you've never done this type of work before, you're welcome to apply - if you're willing to learn, this is a brilliant way to gain hands-on experience.
The role requires someone flexible, as shifts can be up to 12 hours, and you'll need to work both morning and afternoon shifts when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep the production line running smoothly and report any issues
- Complete simple daily paperwork and electronic records accurately
- Help set up the line for each production run
- Make sure the correct packaging and film are used
- Maintain good housekeeping around your work area
- Monitor machine performance and report anything unusual
