The predicted salary is between 20 - 21 £ per hour.

Location: St Ives

Pay: £20.00 - £21.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)

Shift: 06:00 am - 18:00 pm (12 hour shifts)

We are recruiting an experienced Shovel Operator to join a busy recycling facility in St Ives. This is a hands-on role requiring safe and efficient operation of loading shovels to support site production, material movement and yard operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating loading shovel machinery safely and efficiently
  • Moving, loading and transporting recycled materials
  • Supporting yard and production teams with material flow
  • Conducting daily machinery checks and reporting defects
  • Maintaining a clean, safe working environment

Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Shovel Operator, no licence required
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual duties
  • Reliable, safety focused and able to work independently
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays
