Pay: £20.00 - £21.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
Shift: 06:00 am - 18:00 pm (12 hour shifts)
We are recruiting an experienced Shovel Operator to join a busy recycling facility in St Ives. This is a hands-on role requiring safe and efficient operation of loading shovels to support site production, material movement and yard operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating loading shovel machinery safely and efficiently
- Moving, loading and transporting recycled materials
- Supporting yard and production teams with material flow
- Conducting daily machinery checks and reporting defects
- Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
Looking For
- Proven experience as a Shovel Operator, no licence required
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual duties
- Reliable, safety focused and able to work independently
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays
