Edgewing is hiring 3x Systems Engineers (Systems / Senior / Principal) to support sensitive MOD & aerospace programmes. On-site work in Reading required, with hybrid/custom working where appropriate. Contract is inside IR35 and expected to run 6+ months.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, build and run secure, resilient hybrid infrastructure (Azure + on-prem)
- Lead/support Azure services, Windows & Linux estate, virtualisation, storage and networking
- Improve monitoring, performance, DR/BCP, and security-by-design controls
Requirements:
- MOD / Defence Digital / UK aerospace architecture or engineering experience
- 5+ years in infrastructure/cloud/platform engineering (Senior/Principal)
- Strong Azure and hybrid environment experience
- Azure certs, CKA, OpenShift/Red Hat, VMware VCP, ITIL
