Hours of work as a Counterbalance Forklift Operator:

  • Rotating shift pattern:
  • Day shifts: 6:00am - 6:00pm
  • Night shifts: 6:00pm - 6:00am

Pay Rate as a Counterbalance Forklift Operator:

  • £12.41 per hour + £2.50 shift bonus per hour

What you'll be doing as a Counterbalance Forklift Operator:

This role involves working as part of a fast-paced team to ensure the smooth running of operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift to handle and transport goods safely.
  • Loading and unloading goods, raw materials, and packaging from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Using scanning equipment to track and allocate materials correctly.
  • Transporting materials to the production department.
  • Operating a low-lift pallet truck as required.
  • When the forklift isn't in use, assisting with general labouring tasks such as sorting and selecting packaging materials.
