This role is commutable from: Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby, Banbury, Southam, Kenilworth, Southeast Birmingham and the other surrounding areas.
GI Group are recruiting Van Drivers for a position with our client based in Warwick. We have a prestigious company that has operated in the area for over many years. The Van Driver will be placed on a temporary contract, working Monday to Friday.
The Role:
- Handball is to be expected pushing metal cages, with trays of small plants, and this position may include some multi-drop runs (up to 12 per shift).
- This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job.
- The Van Driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.
The perfect candidate:
- Will hold a Clean Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous delivery experience is essential
- Will be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
