Salary: Up to £31,000 PA
Permanent Position
Working hours: 2.45pm to 11.45pm Monday to Thursday, 12 midday to 4pm Friday
Qualifications:
- Ability to set and operate CNC Turning machines
- Experience of vertical & horizontal CNC machines
- Ability to work on manual turning machines
- Ability to read and use comparators, micrometers, vernier, calipers and any other measuring equipment required e.g. CMM
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Outstanding eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Follow strict health and safety procedures
Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC Lathes (Doosan Lynx2100 - Lynx220)
- Responsible for quality and quantity of work
- Maintain SPC Charts
- Maintain Machine TPM
- Actively participate in root cause investigations, ensuring the timely and robust implementation of counter-measures and improvements
