We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic warehousing and forklift instructor to join our client on a six-month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct captivating training sessions, customizing methods to suit personal requirements while offering helpful feedback and guidance.
  • Perform ongoing student evaluations, handle all course components (including individual learning plans with SMART goals), and ensure every participant reaches their maximum capabilities.
  • Provide on-site courses for counterbalance and reach trucks to a varied group of students, assisting both working individuals and job seekers.
  • As a certified RTITB-accredited trainer, apply skills to encourage learners and tackle issues that could impact their advancement.
  • Operate within the employer-focused team and report to your supervisor.
  • Coordinate tightly with multiple units, such as curriculum sections, workplace training, evaluators, organizers, extra support personnel, testing, and data systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience of conducting warehousing and FLT programmes.
  • Background in instructing both employed and jobless students, delivering an uplifting learning journey from the start.
  • RTITB certification and Assessor qualification Level 3 teaching credential, and warehousing certification Level 2 in literacy and numeracy (or similar); IQA credential is preferred but not required.
