Role Overview
As a Remote Telephone Interpreter, you’ll facilitate real‑time conversations between English speakers and clients with limited English proficiency. Your mission is to deliver accurate, culturally sensitive interpretation while providing exceptional service on every call. You’ll work across sectors such as NHS and healthcare, local government and public services, and social care and community support.
Candidate Profile
- UK‑based interpreters
- Experienced in verbal interpretation (essential)
- Fluent in English and at least one other language
- Culturally aware and sensitive to both languages
- Eligible to work on a self‑employed basis
- Ideally qualified to Community Interpreting Level 3 or above
- Willing to obtain or already hold an Enhanced DBS certificate
