About the role
Our client is seeking a proactive Customer Contact Adviser to manage and support a portfolio of customer accounts and driver routes for the division. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, retaining and developing accounts, and working closely with our drivers and operations team to ensure smooth, accurate deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with allocated customer accounts
Make outbound and inbound calls to customers, processing orders, exchanges and sanitisation
Accurately input and update all orders on system and ensure they are allocated to the correct delivery routes
Carry out daily route calls to customers, amending deliveries as required
Take ownership of customer queries, resolving them within agreed timescales
Work closely with drivers to maintain accurate route and customer data
Complete all administration tasks accurately and on time in line with procedures
Collaborate with colleagues across the business to maintain excellent working relationships
Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety requirements
Undertake any additional reasonable tasks as required by the company
About You
Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Strong sense of ownership for customer queries and accounts
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
Strong planning and organising skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Resilient, with excellent customer service skills and able to cope well under pressure
Knowledge & Experience
Previous customer service experience (contact centre or similar environment advantageous)
Good understanding of routes and geographical areas (or ability to learn quickly)
