We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a global leader in life sciences for a Quality Systems and Compliance Officer. In this position, you'll play a key role in maintaining compliance with Regulatory GMPs and corporate requirements, while safeguarding the safety, quality and efficiency of all products manufactured.
Shifts: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:40
Rate of Pay: £15.28 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Use quality and compliance tools (e.g. TrackWise, eDMS, SFLMS, SAP) to support site quality system activities.
- Coordinate GMP documentation in eDMS and manage change controls, CAPAs and actions in TrackWise through to completion.
- Support document lifecycle, training and metrics reporting to maintain inspection readiness.
- Follow all approved procedures and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure targets are met.
- Contribute to continuous improvement (PPI) initiatives across the site and department.
- Demonstrate the company's 4i values while supporting effective QMS processes and site-wide compliance.
Requirements:
- Degree in a scientific subject or equivalent experience in a regulated industry (ideally Quality Assurance).
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device environments beneficial.
- Strong quality mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of cGMP and core QMS elements (deviations, change control, SOPs) and expectations for GMP/Data Integrity in GMP records.
- Well organised, proactive and able to work to critical timelines with a solution-focused approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Collaborative, with high integrity and compliance focus; numerate and analytically minded.
- Experience with Excel, data analytics and Power BI is an advantage.
