About the Role

Gi Group is recruiting Car Compound Drivers to join a leading automotive logistics company based at Portbury Dock, near Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a passion for vehicles, and want to build a long-term career in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle movement — Safely drive and relocate vehicles around the compound and wider site
  • Vehicle checks — Carry out basic pre‑ and post‑movement inspections
  • Accurate parking — Park vehicles following site maps and procedures
  • Team collaboration — Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment
  • Safety standards — Maintain high levels of safety and professionalism at all times

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence (Category B) with no more than 6 points
  • Confident driving skills across manual, automatic, and electric vehicles
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Previous experience in vehicle handling or automotive logistics is desirable but not essential

Weekly pay every Friday

Day shifts only — no weekend work
