Location: Bristol Head Office

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00

Salary: £30,000 per annum

We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Team Lead to support and oversee daily operations within our busy Recycling Department. This is a practical, floor-based leadership role where you will work directly with the team, set priorities, maintain high standards, and ensure all recycling activities are completed safely, accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse and recycling operations, including dismantling, sorting, grading and handling materials.
  • Plan workloads, allocate tasks and organise cover for holidays and absence.
  • Maintain high standards of PPE use, manual handling, housekeeping and material segregation.
  • Coach and support team members in safe working practices, tool use, equipment care and quality standards.
  • Ensure accurate labelling, stock movement, traceability and disposal records.
  • Escalate risks, safety concerns, performance issues or operational blockers promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement and help shape departmental processes.
  • Lead by example in attendance, conduct, communication, safety behaviour and productivity.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in recycling, e-waste, warehouse operations, production, logistics or stock control.
  • Confident using hand tools, handling equipment and safe manual handling techniques.
  • Strong awareness of health & safety, PPE and material segregation.
  • Ability to organise people, workflow and priorities while maintaining output and standards.
  • Good attention to detail and clear communication skills.
  • Basic IT capability (email, spreadsheets, scanning/recording tools).

Training & Development

  • Certifications such as EPOC, CIWM or WAMITAB are beneficial but not essential.
  • We can provide training including forklift licences, manual handling and other role-specific qualifications.
