GI Group are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers for our internationally known client in Peterborough (PE7). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road‑based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics. They operate in numerous countries and are known for their technology, customer service, and commitment to sustainability.

Shift and Pay

  • Monday to Friday
  • Approx. shifts (apply online only)
  • Pay: £18.33 per hour*
  • Overtime rate after 40hrs: £24.54 per hour
  • * Pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay.

Duties

  • Conduct vehicle pre‑checks
  • Make 8‑10 deliveries / collections per day
  • Manual handling involved
  • Scanning and loading of own vehicle
  • Prioritise workload to meet time commitments

Requirements

  • A presentable appearance, eye for detail, and positive attitude
  • No more than 6 penalty points; no DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
  • 12 months + Class 1 licence
  • Valid and in‑date tachograph and CPC qualifications
