Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of maintaining and optimising ground mount solar farms - ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. Your days will be varied:

  • Solar array installation - installing cabling and modules across ground mount systems.
  • Cable termination - completing DC and AC terminations at distribution boxes.
  • Monitoring system setup - installing cabling for data loggers, routers, sensors, and comms equipment.
  • Fault identification - diagnosing electrical, comms, and monitoring issues using industry standard testing equipment.
  • Annual testing routines - including string testing, DC main cable testing, IV curve testing, and thermal imaging.
  • AC inspection - testing and inspecting newly installed AC equipment to BS7671 standards.
