Salary: £31,000-£33,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5.15pm, Friday 8.30am-4.15pm

We're recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of the day-to-day running of an efficient warehouse operation. You'll lead a small team to ensure goods in/out, picking/packing and stock control are completed accurately, safely and on time, while maintaining strong customer service standards.

Key responsibilities of a Warehouse Supervisor:

  • Lead the warehouse team, allocating daily duties and priorities to Warehouse Operatives
  • Ensure all daily orders are picked, packed and ready to load onto same-day transport
  • Oversee picking/dispatch processes in line with SAP procedures, ensuring correct quantities and part numbers
  • Drive quality control and ensure goods are packed to prevent transit damage
  • Manage third-party carrier systems, keeping customer databases up to date and ensuring shipping supplies are available
  • Oversee goods-in: check deliveries against paperwork, report discrepancies quickly, and put stock away promptly and correctly
  • Manage customer returns/repairs booking-in, ensuring all paperwork is accurate
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock rotation (FIFO), maintaining accurate SAP/system records
  • Coordinate warehouse support for the technical department as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe and tidy warehouse/loading area
  • Ensure compliance with H&S procedures, daily FLT/equipment checks, and ISO 9001 processes
  • Suggest and support continuous improvement to warehouse workflows and systems

What we're looking for from a Warehouse Supervisor:

  • Previous experience supervising or leading a warehouse/logistics team
  • Strong working knowledge of picking/packing, goods-in, dispatch and stock control
  • Confident using warehouse systems/ERP (SAP experience highly desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and a hands-on, proactive leadership style
  • Health & Safety focused with a commitment to quality standards (ISO 9001 beneficial)
