A long established family-run steel stock holding site in Tamworth (B79) is expanding and now recruiting a reliable Factory Operative/Driver to join their busy operation.
Responsibilities
- Working within a steel-processing environment
- Manual handling and operating overhead cranes
- Using band saws and general workshop equipment (experience helpful but not essential)
- Completing local deliveries in a Mercedes van
- Supporting day-to-day factory tasks as needed
Qualifications
- A full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months, age 25+ for insurance purposes)
- Confidence with measurements (inches, millimetres, centimetres)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- FLT experience is a bonus but not essential
