CNC Milling Machinists required immediately for our precision engineering client based in Nottingham. The role will involve either programming or setting and operating a variety of CNC Milling machinery.

  • Programming or setting and operating milling machines (online)
  • Using different control systems including Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenheim
  • Maintaining high quality standards such as ISO 9001
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job cards
  • Producing bespoke components that are made to order
  • Selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures for specific jobs

Person Specification

  • CNC Milling experience is essential
  • Programming experience would be preferred, however strong setting and operating experience would be accepted
  • Worked with a wide variety of materials including aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel
  • Ability to work from technical drawings and use measurement tools
  • Pro-active and well-organised approach in order to maintain workload
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications would be beneficial

  • Up to £17.00ph depending on experience
