CNC Milling Machinists required immediately for our precision engineering client based in Nottingham. The role will involve either programming or setting and operating a variety of CNC Milling machinery.
- Programming or setting and operating milling machines (online)
- Using different control systems including Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenheim
- Maintaining high quality standards such as ISO 9001
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job cards
- Producing bespoke components that are made to order
- Selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures for specific jobs
Person Specification
- CNC Milling experience is essential
- Programming experience would be preferred, however strong setting and operating experience would be accepted
- Worked with a wide variety of materials including aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel
- Ability to work from technical drawings and use measurement tools
- Pro-active and well-organised approach in order to maintain workload
- Relevant mechanical qualifications would be beneficial
